Thank you for the beta 4 update! I was going to post something on Friday, but I had too much fun playing the latest release. My friends and I crossed the 300hour mark on steam with this build!
The controls are perfect! 0.3 pitch, 0% roll and stall limiter with 0.79 input scaling on an Xbox 360 controller is back to being as aggressive as ever.
I have noticed an increase in the number of crashes to the desktop. I did have a stack trace from a log saved away, but it was lost to an anonymous gist after transferring it off my htpc. If I catch another one, I'll add it to the thread.
I have seen the game get stuck in a paused spectator mode with a third person view; where I cannot regain focus back to the normal game mode. It doesn't generate any logs when that occurs, and the spectator button the dpad doesn't affect the game.
When selecting 'select' on an xbox controller in the first person view to reset the scenario, the camera and person is reset, but the camera stays at the exit point origin. Selecting the camera button works around the issue.
The damage modeling seems way too insensitive. It's really easy to skip off the ground and come out of it with only a broken wrist.
The new canopy model and menu options are great!
